Transition Effects

You can add or remove visual effects that occur when any type of image, movie or animation starts or stops. Your screen saver can include special effects found in professional video production.

If you do not use transition effects (representing the change from one screen to another), the image, movie or animation simply appears when it starts playing and simply disappears when it stops playing. Using transition effects makes these transitions more visually compelling. Instead of just appearing onscreen, the image might slowly fade in. Or, a star might expand from the center of a region to reveal the new image. Instead of just disappearing when the movie stops playing, a clip might crossfade into the clip that plays next.

Duration of effects - By default, each transition effect lasts two seconds, but you can make a transition last any length of time.

Preview effect - Using this button you can preview currently selected transition effect.
